C.J.M.A.H.S.S located in Thrissur District of Kerala State is a Co- Educational School managed by private aided. Rev. Fr.George Panikulam laid the foundation of upper primary school in 1938. In 1945, by dint of hard work of Rev.Fr.Peter Kundukulam it was upgraded to High School as Assumption High School. In 1997, under the leadership of Rev.Fr.Paul Payyapilly, the school was re-named as Chemmanur Joseph Memorial Assumption High School. In 2000, again under the leadership of Rev.Fr.Joseph Mundassery, the School became Higher Secondary School with a total strength of 1500 students. We are reckoned among the best schools, with highest Result for the SSLC Examination in Kerala State.
