LP - ST.THOMAS LPS

According to the report prepared by the manager Fr Jacob Elakunnapuzha in 1960 this school was a Assan pallikoodam that started in 1800.However according to the school inspection report of 1908 the school celebrated its century in 2008/09 and its 119th anniversary in this year. Although there was a seperate school for boys and girls until 1949 ,it later started functioning there under the common name of St Thomas elimentary school.Now it is known as St Thomas Lower Primery School. This school ,which teaches up to the 4th grade,provides high quality education to about 300 students in two division for each grade.
